Coro Center for Civic Leadership - Pittsburgh

The Women in Leadership (WIL) program offers women in southwestern Pennsylvania an opportunity to enhance personal leadership potential within a network of people dedicated to creating positive change for women in the region. Women in Leadership is a twelve-week, part-time, evening training program designed for high-achieving women with demonstrated leadership experience in the private, public, or non-profit sectors. Program curriculum includes site visits to regional organizations, interviews with local leaders, group projects, and the development of a personal strategic plan for leadership advancement. Women can apply or be nominated to participate in the program.

National League of Cities

The Women in Municipal Government (WIMG) constituency group was formed in 1974 to serve as a forum for communication and networking among women local elected officials and their colleagues within the National League of Cities (NLC). It strives to raise awareness about issues of concern to women, and it encourages women to seek public office in their communities.

New Jersey State League of Municipalities

The Women In Municipal Government Committee's membership consists of all elected and appointed women mayors and council members in New Jersey. A primary goal of this Committee is to encourage the active involvement and full participation of women in municipal government through such venues as professional development, mentoring/networking seminars and other programs and activities. 

Women in Numbers (WIN) is a nonpartisan organization established to engage, encourage and endorse qualified women to be elected to public office.

Women Lead Arkansas, Inc

Women Lead Arkansas provides non-partisan political training to encourage women to run for government leadership positions. The day-long program targets women considering or recently deciding to run for political office, providing training and mentoring by campaign professionals, political women, and officeholders. Women Lead Arkansas is part of the Ready to Run® National Training Network of the Center for American Women and Politics (CAWP) at Rutgers University (NJ).

Women Lead Change is the Iowa's premier leadership organization for women, offering comprehensive leadership resources including events featuring prominent speakers, frequent networking opportunities, and other important services to advance women’s leadership in all aspects of their lives.

Women LEAD MN PAC connects, encourages, and promotes Minnesota’s fiscally-conservative women leaders. Through our political action committee, we support electable, fiscally-conservative women candidates for state and local office through endorsements and direct financial contributions.

Women Lead Oklahoma provides education, resources, and networking that empower Oklahoma women and inspire community and civic action. 

Women Leading Kentucky is an educational organization sponsoring programs/services to promote the importance of developing relationships built on respect and mutual support. Area women are invited to the group's annual business and leadership conference, monthly roundtable lunches addressing issues important to women, mentoring, and access to role models. The organization presents itself as a network of both women and men, not a membership organization.

16/50 Project

Women Leading Local Government are interactive panel sessions hosted at universities throughout the state aimed at introducing students to municipal management as a career. Students meet the force of women leading local communities in Michigan, are presented with real-life municipal challenges to work through, and share dialogue with the panelists on the profession.

The Women Legislators of Missouri (WLM) Caucus sponsor a scholarship program for young women graduating high school in Missouri. 

US Conference of Mayors

The Women Mayors Leadership Alliance (former Women Mayors’ Caucus) was convened in 1983 by Senator Dianne Feinstein, former Mayor of San Francisco. The purpose of the Alliance is both to encourage and develop involvement and leadership potential for women mayors within the Conference of Mayors. 

W.O.M.A.N. is a local progressive action group dedicated to positive change and resistance.

WON seeks to be an organization that offers female county officials the best possible opportunity to further their participation in the National Association of Counties and to assist women in their efforts to be effective leaders in all arenas of the political process.

Founded in 1997, the Women Officials' Network (WON) is a non-partisan organization dedicated to women's leadership at all levels of government. WON Foundation's mission is to empower women leaders of today and mentor women leaders of tomorrow.

Institute of Political Leadership (IOPL)

 The IOPL Women on Board Program is a one-day workshop that demystifys the process of getting appointed and serving on boards.

Women Organizing Women Democrats (WOW Dems) is a North Texas-based women’s Democratic organization. WOW's mission is to encourage more participation of women in local, state, and national politics.

Women Republicans of Central Kentucky (WROCK) is dedicated to involving more central Kentucky Republican women in the political process by educating them about issues, serving as advocates for Republican candidates and recruiting and cultivating candidates. 

The Women Republicans of Cleveland County (WeROCC) works to promote and elect Republican candidates to public office through educating, communicating, recruiting, campaigning, and fundraising.

Women United for Florida Families-WUFF PAC's goal is to encourage, amplify and support qualified women who align with our policy agenda.
