- CAWP generally offers unpaid, volunteer internships.
- In some cases, we are able to offer credit for internships; this depends on your department's or institution's policy. Internships for academic credit generally require a paper or other written product in addition to work on CAWP projects.
- Other internships are offered as needed by CAWP staff and faculty. After we review your cover letter and resume, we will decide whether there is a fit between your interests/skills and our current projects.
There are no current internship openings at the Center for American Women and Politics.

When I decided to intern at CAWP, I looked forward to the opportunity to help empower and educate other women, and that was incredibly fulfilling. What I could not have predicted was that I would find my own life change – and that I would be so inspired about future work in politics. - Youngmin Yi, Wellesley College Class of 2010
