Minnesota will elect one U.S. Senator and eight members to its U.S. House delegation. 

The open Senate race in Minnesota is considered “Likely Democratic” by The Cook Political Report. Democrat Angie Craig, who is white, leads the money race with nearly $10M raised. Twenty-one percent of her funds are from small contributions. Margaret Flanagan (D) has raised over $5.7M with 47% of her funds coming from small contributions. Flanagan is Native American. Michele Tafoya, who is Latina, has raised the most on the Republican side with over $4M; 51% of her funds take the form of small contributions. Republican Joyce Lacey, who is white, has raised just $2,500 by financing her own campaign.

MN-2, which is the state’s only open House seat, is rated a “Likely Democratic” seat by The Cook Political Report. Only one woman, Kaela Berg (D), is running in the race. Berg is white. She has raised $256,257, with 28% of her funds coming from small contributions. Democrat Matthew Klein leads the fundraising race for the seat with $916,690. 

Democratic Representatives Kelly Morrison (MN-3), Betty McCollum (MN-4), and Ilhan Omar (MN-5) are running for reelection. Representatives Morrison and McCollum are white and Omar is Black. Of the women incumbents, Omar has raised the most with over $5.4M; she also leads the women incumbents in proportion of small contributions (67%). One Republican woman, Representative Michelle Fischbach (MN-7), is running for reelection; she has raised $461,029 with 33% of her funds taking the form of small contributions. Fischbach is white.
