Nohemi G. Soria-Pérez

Member, City of Camden Council

Councilwoman Nohemi G. Soria-Pérez serves on the Camden City Council and was the first Mexican American Councilmember in the council’s history. She is also a Commissioner on the Housing Authority of the City of Camden. Soría-Perez is Chief of Staff for New Jersey’s Fifth Legislative District, serving the offices of Senator Cruz Pérez and Assemblymembers Spearman and Moen. Soria-Pérez is a former Regional Coordinator of the NJ Hispanic Leadership Association/Summit, former Board Member of Latinas United for Political Empowerment PAC (LUPEPAC), former South Jersey Vice-President of LUPE Action, a former Environmental Leadership Fellow and currently serves on various boards including Board President of (PRUP), Puerto Rican Unity for Progress and Board Member of Latina Civic Foundation.
