Founded in 1972, the New Jersey Women's Political Caucus, a chapter of the National Women's Political Caucus, recruits and trains progressive women candidates and their campaign organizations and endorses women candidates who support reproductive freedom, the Equal Rights Amendment, and other issues that affect the lives of women and families; and contributes to WPC-NJ-endorsed women candidates through its Political Action Committee.

The National Womens Poliltical Caucus of California works to increase womens participation in the political process and to identify, recruit, train and support feminist women for election and appointment to public office.
