The Nebraska Farm Bureau offers campaign training for prospective candidates and others interested in campaigns by allowing participants to have a meaningful, hands-on experiences to execute successful political campaigns.
The State Chamber's Leadership Nebraska
Created in 2005, Leadership Nebraska works to develop and motivate a cross-section of leaders who will use their talents and abilities to lead within the state of Nebraska. Approximately 30 leaders are selected annually to participate in six, two-day educational sessions from February through September. Each of the educational sessions is conducted in a different community and addresses key subjects and critical issues facing Nebraska
The Institute for Career Advancement Needs, Inc. (ICAN)
The Institute for Career Advancement Needs, Inc. (ICAN) is a non-profit leadership development organization offering comprehensive leadership training for men and women at every level of their careers. ICAN offers gender-specific programs like their annual Womens Leadership Conference (held in Omaha, NE) and womens leadership series including Defining Leadership (NE) and INFLUENCE, which recruits women from organizations nationwide.
Nebraska Federation of Republican Women
Through affiliate chapters in nearly every state, the National Federation of Republican Women (NFRW) promotes the principles, objectives and policies of the Republican Party; elects Republican candidates; informs the public through political education and activity; and increases the effectiveness of women in the cause of good government. In working toward these objectives, the NFRW concentrates its efforts in the areas of educating, communicating, recruiting, campaigning, fundraising, training and legislative action.
Leadership Omaha
Leadership Omaha is a program of the Greater Omaha Chamber of Commerce emphasizing community leadership. Forty-three to 48 participants are selected annually to participate in the 10-month program, which focuses on community trusteeship, leadership styles, and community awareness. Participants attend monthly seminars with area experts and leaders in the public and private sectors and are encouraged to take part in boardsmanship training in the year following graduation.
