Sandra Gong

Member, Hunterdon Central Regional High School Board of Education

Born and raised in New York City, Sandra Gong (she/her) received a BA degree in biology from Cornell University, a MPA from New York University and a MBA with a concentration in finance/accounting and corporate relations from Columbia University’s Graduate School of Business. She was a hospital administrator for 5 years before working in human resources for Citibank, NA. for 3 years. She worked for Merck & Co., Inc. in human resources for 18 years. She was recently elected to the Board of Education at the Hunterdon Central Regional High School and looks forward to giving a voice to all students. 

Sandra and her husband have been NJ residents for almost 30 years.  They have 2 daughters. One daughter attends graduate school, and the other daughter is completing her junior year as an undergraduate. When not attending various meetings, Sandra volunteers at the local area food pantry and sits on the board of the Friends of the Hunterdon County Library. She loves reading books and has stacks of books in no particular order. Sandra is also a long-time fan of the New York Yankees.
