Sarah Neibart
Sarah Neibart is the former Mayor of Mendham Township and currently serves as Deputy Mayor on the Mendham Township Committee. Sarah is an experienced Republican strategist. She worked as Deputy Campaign Manager for Bob Hugin’s campaign for the United States Senate. Before that, she served as the Statewide Political Director for Lieutenant Governor Kim Guadgano’s campaign for Governor. In 2016, Sarah was the National Ballot Access Director for the Chris Christie for President Campaign. She has also managed numerous other campaigns throughout the state of New Jersey.
In addition to her work on campaigns, Sarah is a contractor who works on technology initiatives for a variety of different entities.
In March 2018, Sarah entered public service when she was appointed to the Mendham Township Committee. Since then, Sarah has been re-elected twice. She served as Mayor for two years and is completing her second year as Deputy Mayor. Sarah has never voted for a tax increase and is leading the fight against the growing problems posed by excessive taxes.
In addition to her political and professional accomplishments, Sarah is a volunteer firefighter and is the Deputy Coordinator of the Office of Emergency Management for Mendham Township. Sarah is completing her Master’s Degree in Taxation Policy at Georgetown. Sarah graduated from the University of Wisconsin Honors Program with a B.A. in Political Science and a Certificate in Middle Eastern Studies. Sarah speaks English, Arabic, and Hebrew and has spent significant time living and traveling around the Middle East. She currently resides in Mendham Township with her husband, where they have created an animal sanctuary for rescued pigs and other pets.
