Stennis Institute of Government Campaign Training
The Stennis Institute of Government provides day-long political education workshops designed to capture potential candidates, campaign volunteers, and regular citizens interested in the political process. Training schedules are available at the Institute's website.

Founded in 1966, the National Organization for Women (NOW) is the largest organization of feminist activists in the United States whose goal is to take action to bring about equality for all women. NOW is a multi-issue, multi-strategy organization that takes a holistic approach to women's rights. The organization's official priorities are winning economic equality and securing it with an amendment to the U.S.
Mississippi NEW Leadership®
Mississippi NEW Leadership® remains the only of its kind in Mississippi. An intensive residential program that emphasizes mentorship, networking, and experiential learning, our mission is to provide the education, support, and encouragement necessary to spur women's political leadership.
Mississippi Federation of Republican Women
Through affiliate chapters in nearly every state, the National Federation of Republican Women (NFRW) promotes the principles, objectives and policies of the Republican Party; elects Republican candidates; informs the public through political education and activity; and increases the effectiveness of women in the cause of good government. In working toward these objectives, the NFRW concentrates its efforts in the areas of educating, communicating, recruiting, campaigning, fundraising, training and legislative action.

The Mississippi Federation of Democratic Women is the state's official branch of the National Federation of Democratic Women and shares its ideals and goals.
Leadership Mississippi
Leadership Mississippi is designed to build a strong, diverse network of leaders from every corner of the state to enhance civic engagement. Participants meet for six two-day sessions annually, focusing on different topics in different parts of the state. The programs are scheduled approximately every other month beginning in February. Graduates of Leadership Mississippi are expected to assume active roles in state and local activities and identify participants for future Leadership Mississippi programs.
