NEW Leadership® Montana
Montana NEW Leadership is a program hosted by the University of Montana’s Mansfield Center to educate, empower, and encourage college women to become politically active and to take on leadership roles. We are looking for applicants who are not necessarily in political science, but who have passion for any social issue(s).
Carol's List
The purpose of Carol’s List is to recruit, train, elect, and otherwise support progressive Democratic women to elected office, in order to represent Montanans across the state in various levels of government.
Women's Policy Leadership Institute (WPLI)
WPLI's goal is to create a progressive training and mentorship network to help transfer practical policy skills and experience from current women leaders to future women leaders.
Montana Gender and Racial Balance Legislation
The Montana Code (2-15-108) establishes that as vacancies arise on any appointive boards, commissions, committees, and councils of state government, the appointing officer should take action to achieve gender equity.
Montana Federation of Republican Women
Through affiliate chapters in nearly every state, the National Federation of Republican Women (NFRW) promotes the principles, objectives and policies of the Republican Party; elects Republican candidates; informs the public through political education and activity; and increases the effectiveness of women in the cause of good government. In working toward these objectives, the NFRW concentrates its efforts in the areas of educating, communicating, recruiting, campaigning, fundraising, training and legislative action.
Leadership Montana
Leadership Montana offers a nine-month program of personal and trustee leadership development and business and policy education. Forty selected participants attend seven annual sessions, conducted in different locations across the state from September to May and emphasizing issues important to the state. Leadership Montana members are part of a powerful statewide network of leaders dedicated to improving the state.
