Women Uprising

Women Uprising is a progressive organization that trains non-traditional leaders from communities that have historically been left out of the decision-making process with skills to liberate their communities. 

Women in Municipal Government

The Women in Municipal Government (WIMG) constituency group was formed in 1974 to serve as a forum for communication and networking among women local elected officials and their colleagues within the National League of Cities (NLC). It strives to raise awareness about issues of concern to women, and it encourages women to seek public office in their communities.

Latinas Lead Initiative

The Latinas Lead Initiative aims to boost the numbers of Latina state legislators nationwide and to ensure that incumbent Latina legislators have the tools they need to reach leadership positions within their legislatures as well as higher office through campaign training, leadership development and public policy education. 

Women in Municipal Government Committee

The Women In Municipal Government Committee's membership consists of all elected and appointed women mayors and council members in New Jersey. A primary goal of this Committee is to encourage the active involvement and full participation of women in municipal government through such venues as professional development, mentoring/networking seminars and other programs and activities. 

Women in Government

Women In Government Foundation, Inc., headquartered in Washington, D.C., is a national non-profit, non-partisan organization of women state legislators that provides leadership opportunities, expert forums, and educational resources to address and resolve complex public policy issues to all women state legislators.
