Rural Leadership North Dakota (RLND) is a two-year interactive study and travel program dedicated to producing graduates with the vision and commitment to lead themselves, their organizations and communities into the future. This program emphasizes the development of skills such as working with people, managing projects, speaking in public, thinking creatively and understanding ag and rural policies. Participants attend eight in-state seminars, a Canada seminar and one national seminar in Washington DC over the two-year period.
Ready to Run® is a bi-partisan program for women who want to run for office, seek higher office, work on a campaign, get appointed to office, or learn more about the political system. Ready to Run® North Dakota is part of the Ready to Run® National Network of the Center for American Women and Politics (CAWP) at Rutgers University (NJ).
