Utah Women & Politics is an organization of Utah women that raises money to provide financial support to viable candidates of either party, and any gender, who are running for the Utah State Legislature. 

The Women's Democratic Club of Utah encourage women to seek public office, support Democrats seeking public office, provide a forum for vigorous discussion of key issues, advocate balanced, open and accountable government, and work for equal rights and equal protection under the  law for all. 

The Martha Hughes Cannon Caucus is made up of current and former Utah legislators; named for the Utahn who was the first US woman elected to a state senate.

The Women’s Leadership Institute elevates the stature of women’s leadership by improving society’s understanding of the value of diversity in leadership roles, training women in leadership skills and conveying the positive impact women leaders have on economic development, vitality and the overall health of the state of Utah.
 

The Utah Democratic Party holds campaign trainings providing campaign guidance and materials for all those running for office on the Utah Democratic platform.

The Utah Code (67-1-11) establishes that gender may be a consideration in the appointment of members to any board, committee, bureau, commission, council, or other entity.

Through state chapters, the National Federation of Republican Women (NFRW) promotes the Republican Party; elects Republican candidates; informs the public through political education and activity; and increases the effectiveness of women in the cause of good government. 

Leadership Utah is a year-long program designed by the Salt Lake Chamber to provide opportunities for business leaders to learn more about challenges facing the community. It is ideal for those who are interested in becoming involved, who want to gain the tools to make more informed decisions, and who want to improve their leadership abilities.
