Leadership Trainings (women and men)

Leadership Tulsa

Leadership Tulsa is a nonprofit organization promoting leadership development and community engagement. The flagship Leadership Tulsa adult program is a nine-month program for area professionals to build leadership strength, learn about the issues and needs of the city of Tulsa, and develop skills to lead in the city's public and private sectors. Approximately 45 applicants are chosen annually to participate in once-monthly meetings on these topics. Leadership Tulsa also offers an executive leadership program for top-level executives.

Leadership Tomorrow

Leadership Tomorrow prepares, challenges and engages emerging and existing leaders through leadership development for the benefit of the Puget Sound region. Each year, approximately 72 emerging and existing leaders from the private, public, and non-profit sectors of the community are selected to participate in a nine-month program designed to raise awareness of needs and challenges that affect the region and to enhance leadership skills with a focus on community stewardship. 

Leadership Toledo

Established in 1980, Leadership Toledo is a non-profit organization that fosters leadership and involvement in the Greater Toledo area. Its adult program, Community Leadership Toledo, is a nine-month program that educates about 50 selected particpants annually on community issues and leadership skills.  Participants attend monthly, day-long sessions that cover topics like government, education, health care, human diversity, law enforcement, media, cultural arts, history, and leadership development.

Leadership Tampa

Leadershipi Tampa is a nine-month program developing participants community awareness and leadership skills. Fifty to 60 class members are chosen annually to meet every other week for briefings, tours, seminars and hands-on learning. Topics covered include health sciences, law enforcement, education, redevelopment, tourism, government and other important community issues.

Leadership Tallahassee

Established in 1983, Leadership Tallahassee is a year-long educational program for adults designed to educate and engage community leaders. Twenty-five to 30 selected applicants meet in monthly day-long sessions to learn about key issues affecting political, business, human service and cultural activities in Tallahassee and to encourage and facilitate positive change in the community through volunteer involvement.

Leadership St. Pete

Leadership St. Pete (LSP) is a six-month experience designed to promote and enhance community leadership through an in-depth introduction to social, economic, business and political issues in the St. Petersburg area.  LSP class members interact with diverse, high-level community leaders and decision-makers by organizing and attending a series of seminars and retreats in fields ranging from business, government, education, media, social services, criminal justice, diversity, the arts and more.

Leadership St. Paul

Leadership Saint Paul (LSP) is an annual ten-month adult learning program centered on community leadership that prepares, challenges and engages emerging and existing leaders to strengthen the Saint Paul/East Metro region. Fifty participants are chosen to participate in once-monthly program days build class members' leadership and communication skills, educate them about the challenges and issues facing the region, and explore the interrelationships of government, business, and the broader community.

Leadership St. Louis

Founded in 1976, Leadership St. Louis (LSL) is a nine-month leadership development program dedicated to community improvement.  Emerging and established leaders are selected among applicants that are first nominated for admission.  Participants meet for two-day seminars each month that cover topics like economic development, education, racism, power and politics, poverty and social services, the criminal justice system, arts and culture, and the environment.  Graduates of the program go on to take leadership roles in public and private sectors, including politics and government. 

Leadership Southern Indiana

Leadership Southern Indiana educates Indiana residents about their community, identifies ways to improve the communitys services and effectiveness, and hones individual skills to lead in making those improvements. Selected individuals participate in class days over a five-month period that cover issues like government, art and culture in the region, and leadership development.

Leadership Southern California

Leadership Southern California (LSC) enrolls approximately 40 interviewed and selected mid- to senior-level executives annually in a 10-month leadership development program to expose participants to regional public policy issues across Los Angeles, Orange, San Bernardino, Riverside, Ventura and San Diego Counties. Fellows also travel to Sacramento and Mexico for classes featuring leaders from private industry, government and the non-profit sector.
