MWPC Campaign Skills School

Founded in 1971, the Massachussets Women's Political Caucus trains women from multiple parties in skills needed to run successful, effective political campaigns. The annual one-day Campaign Skills School provides two tracks of campaign training - for candidates and campaign staff.  Attendees are trained by national trainers in an interactive setting with workshops in fundraising, media, communications, organization building, using the Internet for fundraising, building your database, getting your message out and campaign finance law. 

Leap into Leadership

The Wyoming Women's Legislative Caucus hosts the annual Leap into Leadership event at the Wyoming State Capitol in partnership with Equality State Policy Center, The White House Project, Wyoming Business Alliance, and Wyoming Womens Foundation. The program prepares women to run for office by emphasizing leadership, communication, and advocacy training while also providing participants with a first-hand glimpse into the Capitol and its daily business.

Illinois Women's Institute for Leadership

The Illinois Womens Institute for Leadership (IWIL) is an educational organization that exists to encourage and train women to become effective leaders in Illinois government and politics. Participants attend 7 monthly sessions (2 days each) where they are trained in campaigning, government and public policy, and leadership and networking. The program is open to all Illinois Democratic women who have a commitment to serve in public office and a willingness to commit the time necessary to participate fully.

Georgia's WIN List

Georgia's WIN List is a political action committee that provides financial, strategic and political support to Democratic women running for election to the Georgia General Assembly and statewide office. Georgia's WIN List has partnered with EMILYs List to provide trainings for potential women candidates.

Jordan-Huerta Women's Leadership Program

Named in honor of PeopleFor Co-Founder Barbara Jordan and longtime Board Member Dolores Huerta, the Jordan-Huerta YEO Women’s Leadership Program supports women identifying elected officials in the challenges of navigating public office, provides them with continued professional development, and elevates their voices and leadership within the national progressive movement, enabling them to seek higher office and pave the way for more women in political office across the country.

Emerge Wisconsin

Emerge Wisconsin is a political leadership training program for Democratic women, part of the Emerge America network. The Emerge mission is to identify, educate, and inspire Democratic women who want to pursue careers in politics at the local and state levels. Twenty to 25 applicants are chosen annually to participate in once-monthly weekend meetings and workshops over the course of seven months.

Emerge Oregon

Emerge Oregon is a political leadership training program for Democratic women, part of the Emerge America network. The Emerge mission is to identify, educate, and inspire Democratic women who want to pursue careers in politics at the local and state levels. Twenty to 25 applicants are chosen annually to participate in once-monthly weekend meetings and workshops over the course of six months.

Emerge New Jersey

Emerge New Jersey is a political leadership training program for Democratic women. The Emerge mission is to identify, educate, and inspire Democratic women who want to pursue careers in politics at the local and state levels. Fifteen to 25 applicants are chosen annually to participate in state trainings that typically meet once-monthly over 6-8 months.

Emerge New Mexico is a political leadership training program for Democratic women, part of the Emerge America network. The Emerge mission is to identify, educate, and inspire Democratic women who want to pursue careers in politics at the local and state levels. Twenty to 25 applicants are chosen annually to participate in once-monthly meetings and workshops over the course of seven months.
