Leadership Trainings for Women

Women's Leadership Institute

The Women’s Leadership Institute elevates the stature of women’s leadership by improving society’s understanding of the value of diversity in leadership roles, training women in leadership skills and conveying the positive impact women leaders have on economic development, vitality and the overall health of the state of Utah.

HOPE Leadership Institute (HLI)

The HOPE Leadership Institute (HLI) is the first and only statewide leadership program specifically designed for professional Latinas in California. The goal of the Institute is to train Latinas in vital leadership and advocacy skills, enabling them to create fundamental change within their local neighborhoods and across California.

Vote Run Lead

Vote Run Lead trains women to run for office and win, reaching over 55,000 women across America. Our alumni serve on city councils, county boards, state houses, supreme courts, and Congress. We unleash the political power of women as voters, candidates, and leaders to create and sustain an equitable democracy.

Launched in 2014, today, Vote Run Lead is four times the size of our start, reaching tens of thousands of women—nearly 60% of whom are women of color and 20% of whom are from rural America.

NEW Leadership® South Carolina

NEW Leadership® South Carolina is a residential program that gives college women the knowledge and skills to become effective leaders in politics, public policy and public service. During the four-and-a-half-day Institute, participants will meet women leaders, learn about women in American politics, and develop and practice leadership skills through panel discussions, workshops, and hands-on projects. After the Summer Institute, participants are encouraged to continue to develop public leadership skills and become involved in community affairs.

Youth Native Women's Leadership Academy

Beginning in 2010, the Native Action Network holds an annual two-day Youth Native Women's Leadership Academy designed to empower young women as they continue their journey to become leaders of their community. Through hands-on training, participants learn how to advocate for an issue and inspire positive change, while being instilled with Native and community values. Native women who are juniors and seniors in high school through college sophomores are encouraged to apply.
