Pennsylvania NOW

Founded in 1966, the National Organization for Women (NOW) is the largest organization of feminist activists in the United States whose goal is to take action to bring about equality for all women. NOW is a multi-issue, multi-strategy organization that takes a holistic approach to women's rights. The organization's official priorities are winning economic equality and securing it with an amendment to the U.S.

Pennsylvania Center for Women and Politics at Chatham University

The Pennsylvania Center for Women and Politics at Chatham University is a non-partisan center devoted to fostering women's public leadership through education, empowerment, and action. The first to focus on women's political involvement in Pennsylvania, the Center integrates disciplinary knowledge, civic education, and capacity building while examining the intersection of women and public policy. The Center conducts candidate and advocacy trainings, offers educational programs in applied politics, and provides timely analysis on women's issues.

Cincinnati Women's Political Caucus

Established in 1972, the Cincinnati Women's Political Caucus recruits, trains, and supports feminist candidates. It is the only active chapter of the National Women's Political Caucus in Ohio.

New York State Legislative Women's Caucus

The bi-partisan, bicameral New York State Legislative Women's Caucus focuses on a shared legislative agenda. Through the Caucus, women state legislators work to: /-- Improve the participation of women in all areas of government /-- Support issues that affect and benefit women in New York State, and /-- Provide a network of support for women in the state legislature.

New York NOW

NOW chapters focus on six priority issues including reproductive rights, ending sex discrimination/constitutional equality, promoting diversity and ending racism, economic justice, stopping violence against women, and LGBTQIA rights. 

New Mexico NOW

NEW Leadership® Pennsylvania

NEW Leadership® Pennsylvania is an intensive, week-long, residential leadership and public policy institute designed to educate and empower young women for future political participation and leadership. The program addresses the under-representation of women in the political arena by focusing on the role of women in politics and policy making in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. NEW Leadership® Pennsylvania is part of the NEW Leadership® Development Network of the Center for American Women and Politics (CAWP) at Rutgers University (NJ).

NEW Leadership® Oregon

NEW Leadership® Oregon is the women's leadership development program housed at the Center for Women, Politics & Policy at Portland State University. Open to college women enrolled at any college in the state of Oregon, NEW Leadership® Oregon's intensive, six-day, residential leadership training program is specifically designed to introduce Oregon's college women to opportunities for public leadership.

NEW Leadership® New York

The NEW Leadership® New York is an intensive residential program that educates college women about politics and policy making and inspires them to get involved in the political process. During the six-day program selected students meet with women in a variety of roles in the public sphere, learn about women's political participation, explore ideas about leadership and politics, and participate in hands-on skills building exercises.
