New Leaders Council New Jersey

New Leaders Council (NLC) was formed in 2005 to train and support the next generation of progressive political entrepreneursyoung professionals in their twenties and thirties who are leading industries, setting trends, and building institutions that support robust civic and political life in a global America. NLC accomplishes this mission primarily through the NLC Institute - a political entrepreneurship training program held 10 days over a five-month period that builds local teams of young professionals in 19 cities across the nation.

New Jersey Women's Political Caucus

Founded in 1972, the New Jersey Women's Political Caucus, a chapter of the National Women's Political Caucus, recruits and trains progressive women candidates and their campaign organizations and endorses women candidates who support reproductive freedom, the Equal Rights Amendment, and other issues that affect the lives of women and families; and contributes to WPC-NJ-endorsed women candidates through its Political Action Committee.

New Jersey NOW

The purpose of NOW New Jersey is to take action through intersectional, anti-racist grassroots activism to promote feminist ideals, lead societal change, eliminate discrimination, and achieve and protect the equal rights of all women and girls in all aspects of social, political, and economic life. 

New Jersey Federation of Republican Women

Through affiliate chapters in nearly every state, the National Federation of Republican Women (NFRW) promotes the principles, objectives and policies of the Republican Party; elects Republican candidates; informs the public through political education and activity; and increases the effectiveness of women in the cause of good government. In working toward these objectives, the NFRW concentrates its efforts in the areas of educating, communicating, recruiting, campaigning, fundraising, training and legislative action.

New Jersey AFL-CIO Labor Candidates Program

The New Jersey State AFL-CIO Committee on Political Education (COPE) directs the Labor Candidates Program to instruct union members about fund-raising and election law, research, message development, public speaking, media relations, voter contact, volunteer recruitment, targeting, and get-out-the-vote. The Labor Candidates School and Non-Partisan Training Seminars are the cornerstones of this political program. Participants are awarded full scholarships by the New Jersey State AFL-CIO.

LUPE Fund Inc.

LUPE Fund Inc.'s mission is to educate, empower, and engage Latinas in order to promote leadership and civic engagement. LUPEPAC supports progressive Latina candidates for all levels of office in New Jersey.

Leadership Newark

Leadership Newark is a 2-year fellowship program for qualified professionals committed to the Greater Newark community. The program provides a forum for emerging leaders to debate and discuss public policy issues as they move towards developing solutions and potential programs which could better the community. In year one, fellows learn about issues facing the community at group dinners and receive skills training at events and retreats. In year two, fellows put their learning to work through a leadership project.
