NEW Leadership® New Jersey

NEW Leadership™ New Jersey is a residential summer institute designed to empower about 35 college women each year to become involved in the political process. Participants interact with women from a variety of political and policy-making positions to develop their own concepts of leadership and learn about the roles and representation of women in politics and policy-making in the region.  NEW Leadership™ New Jersey is the flagship program of the NEW Leadership™ Development Network of the Center for American Women and Politics, a unit of the Eagleton Institute of Politics at Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey.
