Women for Tennessee's Future

Women for Tennessee's Future (WTF) is a political action committee dedicated to mobilization, advocacy, and fundraising for the election of progressive women across the state. WTF offers education about the political process, information on crucial political issues, and support for progressive women candidates for public office.

Tennessee Women's Political Caucus

Founded in 1974, the Tennessee Women's Political Caucus is an active voice for women and families in Tennessee, promoting full and equal participation of women in government and political parties. The Caucus strongly encourages women to seek public office, whether elected or appointed, and supports women candidates for office. It also provides information about upcoming political trainings or workshops from state organizations.

Tennessee Federation of Republican Women

Through affiliate chapters in nearly every state, the National Federation of Republican Women (NFRW) promotes the principles, objectives and policies of the Republican Party; elects Republican candidates; informs the public through political education and activity; and increases the effectiveness of women in the cause of good government. In working toward these objectives, the NFRW concentrates its efforts in the areas of educating, communicating, recruiting, campaigning, fundraising, training and legislative action.

Leadership Nashville

The Leadership Nashville Foundation was founded in 1976 as an independent executive leadership program to give community leaders a three-dimensional view of the city and bring together all city neighborhoods and sectors. Leadership Nashville selects participants for an annual nine-month program from September through June, including seven monthly meetings and opening and closing retreats where class members look at issues that face Nashville, including problems such as crime, affordable housing, school finances, racial tensions, transportation and arts funding.

Leadership Memphis

The Leadership Memphis Executive Program is a nine-month program to inform, involve, and inspire community leaders toward greater participation in the Memphis community's public and private sectors. Each year, 80 particpants spend 13 days together in a curriculum focusing on issues important to the community and ways to enhance their networking and leadership skills.

Leadership Blount

Leadership Blount County is a community leadership enhancement and development program designed to provide a large number of well-trained, highly motivated citizens to assume leadership roles in civic, educational, economic development, cultural and philanthropic organizations and groups in Blount County. Each year, a class of approximately 36 people is selected by a volunteer committee of alumni from nominations received from the community. The board and staff plan and conduct full-day sessions each month for the ten-month duration of the annual program.
