Leadership Nashville

The Leadership Nashville Foundation was founded in 1976 as an independent executive leadership program to give community leaders a three-dimensional view of the city and bring together all city neighborhoods and sectors. Leadership Nashville selects participants for an annual nine-month program from September through June, including seven monthly meetings and opening and closing retreats where class members look at issues that face Nashville, including problems such as crime, affordable housing, school finances, racial tensions, transportation and arts funding. Participants are educated by and network with local leaders from the public and private sectors.
