Leadership New Mexico

Leadership New Mexico encourages program graduates to assume leadership roles on community and statewide issues and develop networks for effective leadership. The 10 month Core Program includes educational sessions, led by state leaders, designed to address current issues facing the state. Core Program sessions are held in communities all over the state to expose participants to the different regions of New Mexico and the local issues important to each region, including issues like health and human services, economic development, education, the environment, government, crime and justice, and leadership. Leadership New Mexico selects a class each year of 40-45 leaders who represent a cross-section of the public, private and nonprofit sectors in various regions of the state.
