Campaign Trainings for Women

NWPC hosts training programs to provide women with the skills needed to run campaigns as candidates, to serve as staff, and to be effective volunteers. 

Emerge Washington is a political leadership training program for Democratic women, part of the Emerge America network. The Emerge mission is to identify, educate, and inspire Democratic women who want to pursue careers in politics at the local and state levels. 

Emerge South Carolina, part of the Emerge America Network, is a political leadership training program for Democratic women in South Carolina. The Emerge mission is to identify, educate, and inspire Democratic women who want to pursue careers in politics at the local and state levels. 

Emerge New York recruits, trains, and provides a powerful network for Democratic women running for office.

Emerge Louisiana recruits, trains, and provides a powerful network for Democratic women running for office.

Emerge Alabama inspires women to run for public office, and hones their skills to win. Their mission is to increase the number of Democratic women in all levels of public office throughout the state. 

RUN WY Candidate Training is a joint effort by the Equality State Policy Center, Wyoming Women Rise, and Jackson Hole Conservation Alliance to train candidates across Wyoming on the skills necessary to not only run, but win elected office in our state. 

The Emerge Connecticut training program is a unique opportunity for Democratic women who want to run for public office. It is the only in-depth 70-hour training program that inspires candidates to run and gives them the tools to win.

Colorado 50/50 is a nonpartisan group formed in the spring of 2017 by a circle of women in Fort Collins, Colorado. They believe office-holders – whether elected or appointed – should more closely reflect the population. In other words, since women make up more than 50% of the population, then women should hold at least 50% of the seats. Fifty-fifty, fair and square.

Her Term is a Georgia-based initiative created to recruit progressive women to run for public office at the local, state, and national levels.
