Practical Strategies for Getting Appointed
This panel demystifies the appointment process from an insider’s perspective. Panelists will share behind-the-scenes insights on how state-level appointments are made, explain how administration transitions create opportunities, and offer practical strategies. Beyond the formal application process, participants will receive guidance on the less formal but equally important aspects of getting appointed to office, including increasing visibility through community involvement, relationship-building and networking, and securing support from legislative stakeholders.
